Dun Beag Broch and the Cuiilin Ridge in Winter

Dun Beag broch is a 2000 year old stone tower of a type common to the North of Scotland and the islands. It was used as living space and fortress for humans and livestock.

Brochs are generally situated in position which allow good all-round views, and Dun Beag affords some of the finest views on the Isle of Skye, as it looks over to the Western Isles and Southwards to the stunning Cuillin mountains.
