Solitary Anti-Glider Post, Nairn Beach

Low tide at Nairn's East Beach, exposes a decaying anti-glider post. These posts were used to deter enemy forces from landing on the wide expanses of beach, during the Second World War.

Also known as 'Rommel's asparagus'.
